This initiative has greatly contributed to increasing the production of disease free cassava, thereby supporting the livelihoods of farmers within and beyond the company’s catchment areas. Over the years, Josma Agro-Industries has earned national recognition for its contributions to the agricultural sector. The company was honored with the National Best Cassava Farmer award in 2009 and the National Best Small Scale Food Processor award in 2016, highlighting its excellence in both farming and food processing. The company’s processing facility was recognized as a Good Practice Centre (GPC) by the Roots and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Programme (RTIMP)th, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in the cassava industry.
