Bukona Agro Processors is a cassava based distillery manufacturing ethanol which is primarily used for domestic cooking in our specially designed ethanol cook stoves, Bukona Agro is aiming to substitute the use of devastating Charcoal and the imported LPG, the prevailing cooking options.

Bukona Agro is providing a large scale market for cassava in Northern Uganda, to the tune of 20,000 tons of dry cassava chips annually and supporting the government objective of promoting and commercialising cassava through their development arm Operation Wealth Creation (OWC). OWC in partnership with the Archdiocese of Gulu  have supported Over 10,000 Farmers by providing them seedlings. Bukona Agro is proud to be associated with OWC and Acholibur Parish Project (APP), a venture formed by the Archdiocese of Gulu.
